Payment Options

Payment Terms

At Central Vet, we require payment at the time of service or product rendered. Services and products provided off-premises may require pre-payment or, under specific circumstances, may be placed on your account. Payment for these is appreciated upon receipt of your invoice.

We kindly accept payment in the form of cash, debit, VISA debit, e-transfer, and credit card (VISA, MasterCard, and American Express).

Online banking is also accepted (to pay this way, add Central Veterinary Services as a ‘Payee’ and note in the comments your Central Vet account number, which is found after your name on your invoice).

If you prefer to leave your credit card information with us for automatic processing, please inform our team in person or by phone. We can add this information to your account, and payment will then be processed upon invoice. *Please note credit card information will be stored in our password-protected clinic software program on computers and a network with up-to-date security protection.

When unexpected illness or injury strikes an animal, unexpected expenses strike as well.

We recognize that financial concerns can impact decisions about veterinary care. To make veterinary care more accessible, we’ve partnered with two financing companies, ScratchPay & iFinance, that offer flexible payment plans without hard credit checks. It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into installments.

iFinance PetCard:

12–72-month terms for bills up to $25,000, with competitive interest rates.
ScratchPay:

‘Take 5’: 5 equal bi-weekly payments with no interest for amounts of $35-$1000.

Monthly plans: Choose a 12- or 24-month term, with competitive interest rates, for amounts from $200-$10,000.

When your pet gets sick or injured, the last thing you want to think about is how much it will cost.

Pet insurance helps protect you from that financial burden and makes sure you can focus on getting the best care possible for your companion. Whether your pet has several minor incidents or develops a serious medical condition like cancer, pet insurance shields your budget from unexpected, expensive veterinary costs.

Knowing that your pet’s health care is covered allows you to determine the best course of treatment based on what will be most effective for the health and happiness of your family cat and/or dog (not the size of your wallet).

With pet medical insurance, your furry friend will be taken care of.
